CMO goes TECH 8th Meet up - Joins forces with Google and Publicis Sapient on the topic PWA.

February 6th, 2020 at Google's office in Stockholm.
17.00-19.00 CET

Studies reveal that up to 80 % of apps are used once after being downloaded, and then never again. Where does this take us? Is PWA the solution?
PWA (Progressive Web Apps) is one of the most talked-about technology shifts in the web. After some hesitance, many companies decided to jump on the train but what are the benefits, business impacts, and challenges?
Controversial? Debatable? Agreeable?

Many important questions and we will support you by bringing in the experts to guide you - Google and Publicis Sapient.

We are glad to have met so many engaged guests at our last meet up. Many companies are trying their best in creating a holistic customer experience but many customer don't agree that it's actually improving. A true challenge!

93% of CEOs believe that a good customer experience will be critical for them to achieve their business goals in 2019….
80% of companies believe that they deliver an optimal customer experience….
95% of companies consider themselves to be customer-focused….
….but only 8% of their customers agree….

We got some great advice and inspiration from some of the best on how to challenge the management to dare to invest in the customer experience and to focus on actionable data.

Thanks for the inspiring presentations Jenny Gejke, Head of Digital Channel Development, SJ AB and Jonas Carlson Almqvist - Tech Lead, Digital in Destination at Thomas Cook.

The coming event in November - help us choose the topic!

Thanks for an inspiring event with great discussions on creative data. Christian Cabau, Marketing Director at Klarna, Veronica Lundberg CMO & Stefan Månsby Chief Evangelist, Basefarm and Johanna Sahlman, Head of Halebop shared generously how they work with data from a marketing perspective.

Three different keynotes, all summed up to the conclusion that it’s all about the idea. Start with the insight, and build on data. Or to, just like Christian, quote Steve Babcock:

Creativity without data is just art, but data without creativity is neglect.

CMO goes TECH wants to send a big thank you to the team at The Absolut Company for a the fantastic hosting at their innovation hub: LivingLab. We also want to thank Confetti, for sponsoring us with their great event tool.

We’re looking forward seeing you all, at the next meetup on September 19, @SAS Institute. And on the 5th of September – the very first CMO tool DAY will take place! More info will follow shortly.

Have a wonderful summer!
